IT Cosmetics Contest & Birchbox June 2015

Hi Guys!
Happy July!

Today, I found out that I didn't make it to the second round of It Cosmetics #VoteITGirl contest (I forgot to make a blog post about my entry). I honestly wasn't expecting to make it to the second round but wanted to enter for fun. However, I would still love it if you can check out my entry video. I loved the glamorized smokey look that I did in the video!

Ipsy June 2015!

Hi, Guys!
How have you guys been?
NYC has been having some rain these days.
It has been very humid and disgusting.
How is the weather like in your area?

Anyway, I have decided that I am no longer going to be sharing Ipsy and Birchbox together.
Instead, I'll be sharing them separately.
And today, I am finally sharing what I received in Ipsy this month.
(Curious about Birchbox? Don't worry! That post will be up early next week!)

For those of you who don't know, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service. It is $10 a month and each month they sent 4-5 deluxe or full size products. It is a great way to try new and different products!

Overall, this month's bag was good mix of makeup and skincare items. However, there were nothing that stood out to me. Likewise, none of the products were terrible. I can definitely see myself using these products. But, I am just not excited to be trying them.

Review: Garnier Clean Plus Sensitive Skin Makeup Removing Cleanser Lotion

Hi, Guys!
Today, I have a review on the new makeup removing product from Garnier.
I have been using Garnier Clean Plus Sensitive Skin Makeup Removing Cleanser for almost a month now. I have a pretty solid thoughts on it and I thought I'll share my view with you guys.

Pros:

It really is gentle as it claims. Would recommend for people with sensitive skin.
It is cheap. It retails for about $6 at Walmart.com

Cons:

It doesn't remove eye makeup as it claims.
Double cleansing necessary. It leaves the skin feeling slippery otherwise.

Final thought:

It's definitely a product that won't hurt your wallet to give it a try. I would definitely recommend this product to someone with a sensitive skin. I would probably repurchase this product sometime in the future.

I was actually sent this product from Cosmopolitan Latina Magazine. I am not Latina (I am Korean), but I am subscribed to Cosmopolitan and they sometimes send an issue of the Cosmopolitan Latina along with the regular Cosmopolitan. I think they were collecting thoughts on the product.

Daily Bits:

Omg I went to Ssinnim's (씬님) meet and greet today at YouTube Space in NY. She is a Korean beauty youtuber (for those of you who are not familiar with her). She was amazing! Her channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/Hines382

I also filmed a video getting ready for the meet and greet, so hopefully that will go up sometime next week. Though, I wasn't super happy with the makeup.
While I was waiting for a train after the meet up, I encounter a most annoying group of tourist ever! They were talking very loudly, singing something, and making baby noises. Also, two people from the group were playing with my hair. I mean, who plays with stranger's hair?
