Sigma Brushes and Target Haul

Hi,
I recently bought a brush kit from Sigma and bought bunch of stuff from Target today.
I thought it be fun to share what I bought.

Here is a picture of everything I bought:

I got the Make Me in Cool in Essential Kit in Colored Ferrules. It came with 12 brushes and I am really excited about this purchase. This is my first time getting Sigma or any higher end brush.

I picked up a wet brush. I have been planing on buying one for really long time but I just never found it anywhere. I finally found one at Target.

I finally picked up this Wet N Wild's Walking On Eggshells eyeshadow. I heard so many great things about this eyeshadow and can't wait to use it.

I also bought E.L.F's Small Stipple Brush. I kinda picked up this brush because of the youtuber that goes with the name emilynoel83 (you guys should check her out on Youtube if you don't already know her!). She has been saying that this brush is best for using cream blush. I always have a little trouble using cream blush, so I thought I give this brush a try.

I also picked up this blush & bronzer duo from E.L.F in St.Lucia. I never tried E.L.F's blush or bronzer so I am hoping they turn out to be amazing.

So that wraps up this post. Please leave a comment on your thoughts on the product or what you bought if you went shopping recently.

Ipsy January 2014

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription box.
It is $10 a month.

My bag arrived today and I was very excited for it.
The theme of the bag this month is 19 Reasons.
I don't like how the bag looks this month.
Plus, I think it smells weird.

Here's a picture of everything I received this month.

Here is a list of what I got this month:

  • Benefit the POREfessional: I am SO excited to get this! I always wanted to try this.
  • Balanced Guru Balm Me Up Organic Sweet Cocoa & Tangy Body Balm: It feels very thick and a bit greasy. It also smells like vitamin C.
  • Yaby natural finish liquid foundation in shade buff: I never heard of this brand. I hope the shade matches me.
  • (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito Lip Balm: I haven't tried this yet.
  • Absolute! Make Up Cleansing Tissue: Never heard of this brand either but I can always use cleansing wipes.
My thoughts on this month's Ipsy bag?
I love the Benefit Porefessional and am so excited to try it. The other things I am looking forward to trying these new products, especially the body balm.

Check out Ipsy if you haven't already and if you are already subscribed to it, please leave in comments what you got in your Ipsy bag.

It also came with couple of cards with quotes that are suppose to help you motivated on your goals for the year.

Here's a picture of everything I received.

Here's a list of things I got:

  • Birchbox find: Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion With Clay Sage - I haven't tried using it but I don't like the smell of it.
  • Nail Rock in color Sequin Green - The glitter looks very pretty.
  • INIKA Mineral Eyeshadow in eternal marine - It is a very pretty green eyeshadow with glitter.
  • Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle
  • Juicy Couture VIva La Juicy Perfume
My verdict on this month's box?
It is definately a box that I will enjoy using. I just wist that I got a different color for the eye shadow.

Julep Maven December 2013

Julep Maven Box - December 2013
Julep maven box is a monthly nail polish and beauty subscription box. It is $20 per month. This is actually my second Maven box, so I am fairly new to this subscirption service. Every month they send you an email describing what the different option for the boxes are (there's five unique boxes), so you can choose which one you want! And there's an option to skip a month if you don't like any of the boxes you see. The first box is free with the code FREEBOX. So why not, try it if you never did?

This month, I choose the Boho Glam box.

How it looked inside once I opened it.

The two nail polish colors were Misti and Joelle. I am excited to try these two colors!

Here's a look at the eyeshadow pallette. I am a big eyeshadow junkie. I just can't get enough of them.
Look how pretty these colors are ! They are very neutral and perfect for everyday makeup. I can't wait to play with these!

Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows. They have a slight shimmer to them. I personally love shimmery eyeshadows. The shimmer was so pretty when it caught light on my arm.

This month's Maven box came with two twistbands as bonus products. I never tried these and not really sure if I will like them.

I am really happy with this month's Maven box! I can't wait to try the nail polish and the eyeshadows. I am also happy with how fast the box came this month. Try the Maven box if you haven't and if you are a subscriber of Maven box already, let me know which box you chose for December in the comment.

Manicure Monday (Tuesday)

I was going to upload this post yesterday, but I was too busy shopping for cyber Monday. So I just decided to upload it today, even though I am a day behind. I know my fingers are very ugly, but please excuse them!

This nail polish is Posh by Zoya and it was one of their matte velvet collection. This was my first time using this nailpolish and I just love it ! It is sooooo pretty! It is burgundy red with some light red shimmer to it.
