Hi, Guys!
Today, I'll be sharing what I received in my Ipsy bag this month.

Here's look at this month's bag:

I really don't like this month's bag design. I think it looks and feels really cheap.

Anyway, here's what I received:

  • Bare Minerals 5 in 1 Cream Shadow
  • Hang Tan Dark Tanning Oil
  • Lord & Berry Kajal Stick
  • Marrakesh Hair Care Marrakesh Endz
  • Pur Minerals Big Look Waterproof Mascara

You can also watch my video for more information !

So I didn't really like this month's Ipsy bag. I feel like the only thing I am excited to try is the Marrakesh Hair Care product and the rest are all give or take items.

Are you subscribed to Ipsy? If so, what did you receive?  If not, would you consider subscribing to Ipsy?

Daily Bits:

  • I am feeling so tired today morning.
  • I am going over to my friend's house later!
  • I have been really loving the Body Shop Sorbet in the scent Satsuma ! I think I am getting addicted to the scent.

Review: KimbleBeauty Silk Rollers & Slumber Cap

Hi, Guys !
Today, I'll be sharing my experience using two of KimbleBeauty's product.
KimbleBeauty was founded by Kimberly Kimble, a sought after hair stylist in entertainment industry, and sells various hair products. I recently had an opportunity to try two of their product, provided by BrandBacker. I received Silk Hair Covered Rolls and the Slumber Cap.

A look at the products:
Left: Silk Covered Hair Rollers Right: Silk Slumber Cap

The Silk Covered Hair Rollers comes with 12 individually packaged rollers that looks like this in the packaging:

Both the roller and the cap are covered in silk. It claims that the silk helps the hair maintain healthy hair. The roller also claims that it prevents breakage in the hair. This roller can be used on wet or dry hair.

As for my experience with the roller, I am obsessed ! I used hot rollers in the past, but I was never a fan of them and I don't use them anymore. I recently got into using curling iron, but it has been too hot lately to use heat on my hair. That is this is so great because you can just leave this on for couple of hours and you would still get a beautiful result. This roller is very easy to use and results in beautiful curls.

Before:

After:

I love brushing the curls out after a bit, to create more loose waves. This look was achieved after leaving on the rollers for about 2 hours.

Now, one way they suggest using the rollers is to leave on the rollers overnight and to use the slumber cap to make sure that the rollers won't fall off during the night. However, I must say I never try this method and have never used the slumber cap as I don't see the need  for it.

In conclusion, I really loved the rollers! I would recommend it to anyone. I think it is best to use when you have lot of time to get ready, since you do have to leave it for couple of hours to get the result.

Birchbox July 2014 & Extra Birchbox

Birchbox is a $10 a month beauty subscription box. Each month is tailored with a theme and you will receive personalize samples. You can sign up here!

Hi, Guys!
Today's post is going to be on my July Birchbox.
This month Birchbox teamed up with Women's Health magazine.
Thus, the theme of this month's Birchbox is Power Up !

Products I received:

  • Beauty Protector Protect & Treat Mask
  • Benefit Posiebalm
  • NAOBAY Body Radiance Lotion
  • Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel
  • Ruffian The Rapture Collection in Relic
So that's all I got, along with one bonus packet of the Ruffian nail polish remover towelette, free subscription to Women's Health magazine and a packet of list of challenges to participate in for a chance to win their giveaway.

I thought this month's Birchbox had some exciting item for me. I found the Posiebalm, hair mask and the nail polish exciting. However, body lotion and the face peel was leave it or take it kind of situation.

I actually had another Birchbox this month. Birchbox opened their first ever Birchbox shop in SOHO NYC on the 12th of this month. Of course, I had to go check it out ! I convinced my friends to go with me. The store was very nice and was decorated very nicely. I decided to get one of their 'build your own Birchbox.' Basically, you can pick out which samples you want from 5 different categories. Each of the Birchbox that you make is $15.

Here's list of product I picked out:

  • Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream
  • Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Booster Serum
  • Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue
  • Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment
  • Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Birchbox Pink
I highly recommend that you guys check out the Birchbox store in SOHO if you live in NYC area and love Birchbox. All the people that were working there that I interacted with were very nice. I just loved the vibrant energy of the store!

Overview of my two boxes:

Check out my video for more detail on each of the products in both of my boxes:

So, what did you think of this month's Birchbox? Do you live in NYC area? Will you be checking out Birchbox Store? Please leave me a comment !
