My Go To Make Up!

Hi, Guys!
I fee like it's been forever since I posted on the blog for some reason.
I have been busy cleaning my room recently.
It was very messy and disorganized, but now it's starting to come along.
I still need to organize my clothing, but I think other than that, it's coming along.
My plan is to organize my clothes today and work on organizing my photos on my phone, and factory reset it. My phone has been spazzing lately, and the Verizon people told me that it should be ok once I reset it.

Anyway, I wanted to share my go to makeup look.
This is the look that I always go back to if I don't know what I want to do that day.
However, I do switch up my look time to time, and I do try some looks that I am inspired by.

I am really happy with how this video turned out.
I know that YouTube is full of really amazing and talented people, but I am still learning makeup and editing.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video!
What are your go to makeup look?

Wisdom Teeth Removal Experience Day 1 & 2

Hi, Guys !
Yesterday, I had three of my wisdom teeth removed. I thought it would be nice to share my experience.

My appointment was at 2 pm yesterday, and was told to not drink or eat anything before the surgery. I wasn't as starving or thirsty as I expected before the surgery. They also made me take pregnancy test, even though I was sure I wasn't pregenat. However, they said it was a standard procedure for females, especially when it's been over 28 days since their last period.

Since, I had to get three of my wisdom teeth removed, I was sedated, as well as given local anesthesia in my mouth. I fell asleep very very fast, and by the time I was gaining some senses again, the whole procedure was done. Once I was up, they moved me to the resting area, from the surgery room, until the IV was complete. I was still very foggy from the anesthesia, so I was glad to be able to rest for a while. They discharged me when I woke up, and explained all the things I should avoid and do. I was also told that I wasn't bleeding much, which is good.

They prescribed me two different pain killers. One being Motrin, and the other being something stronger. I was also given some penicillin and some antibacterial mouthwash. I was also given irrigating syringe with an instruction to use it starting from Sunday. I was also given instructions on what type of food I should eat and a pamphlet with all the information.

After getting home, I drank lot of cold water, because I was so thirsty! I was getting hungry as well, but didn't feel like I could eat much. I basically just ate some vanilla favored ice cream and took some pain killers and fell asleep.

Today, when I woke up, I was really hungry. Also, my jaw was a little difficult to move. Though, my cheek wasn't swollen much. Basically, all I did today was eat some, sleep some, watch some YouTube, and repeat. I didn't do anything useful or anything. As for the food, I ate some hard boiled egg, porridge, yogurt, ice cream, and some ice coffee. I basically ate food that doesn't really require me to chew.

For me, the pain killers are really doing their job. I am not feeling much pain, but I do feel discomfort in my mouth. I especially feel discomfort in my throat, and it is a bit uncomfortable to swallow, even my spit. I brushed my teeth today and also used the mouthwash. I kinda feel like I am going to get bruises on my cheek, but since it's not even swollen much I am not sure.

So far, I am glad that the pain isn't too bad or anything. While I do feel some discomfort, it isn't unbearable. I am also glad that I was able to have the procedure while I am still on break from school. I have to go back for post operation check up on next Tuesday, but I think everything will be fine.

Did you have your wisdom teeth removed? If so, how was your experience? If not, will you be getting your wisdom teeth removed sometime in the future? Leave me a comment!

Movie Review: Ode To My Father (국제시장)

Hi, Guys !
I feel like I have been spending most of my winter break going to the dentist :(
This definitely makes me realize that I should take care of my teeth more!

Anyway, I had a movie date with my dad today.
We went to see a movie called Ode To My Father (국제시장).
It is a Korean movie and was released in Korea around middle of December.
However, it just released today here in United States.

Going into the movie, I did not really know about what the movie was about. I just knew that the movie was about fatherly love and how it talks about the life of a man who lived through Korean War, Vietnam War, etc. While this movie wasn't suspenseful or anything, it didn't feel like it was boring me throughout the two hours. The movie had many sad moments. I actually couldn't get through the movie without crying. When you think your tears stop coming, there are other scenes to get your eyes start flowing again.

The part that was most touching to me when the main character was writing to his wife and he said something along the lines of "I am glad that I went through the horrible Korean War, and that I experienced the terrible times at the German Mines, and that now I am living through the Vietnam War. I am glad to think I lived through it, and that my children won't have to". This was very touching and did made me think of what being a parent means. It is evident that to the main character, being the father, husband, and the leader of the family, means to giving up his dream, sacrificing himself for the sake of others.

Overall, I think this is a must see movie for a Korean. I am not saying that the whole world should watch it or anything, but if you have a Korean background you should watch it. I don't think people from other nationalities can quite relate to it, especially because the Korean War and the separation of families during that War plays a huge  role throughout the movie. Also, if you are around my age, then this movie is something that will make you appreciate or think about your grandparents generation.

Are you guys planning to watch this movie? Will you be interested in watching it? What other movies are you planning to watch? Please leave me a comment !

Review: Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

Hi, Guys !

The Body Shop has been one of my favorite store in 2014 and I have been buying lot of things from there. In my recent purchase from The Body Shop, I got the Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I actually didn't buy this particular product, it came as a free gift when I made the purchase.

Here's a look at the product:

I was really excited to try this product out. Even though, I didn't purchase this product, I did have high hope for this product, because it is from The Body Shop. However, it did not live up to my expectation. It removes eye makeup pretty well. When I am wearing really heavy liner or something, it does take awhile to remove everything, but other than that, it removes my eye makeup pretty quickly. It also doesn't have horrible scent or the scent isn't strong either. It does have a faint scent that you will pick up when you are using it. However, the deal breaker for me is that it is not gentle at all! It actually stings my eyes every time I use it. I mean, who wants to have teary eyes every time you remove your eye makeup? And I don't really have sensitive eyes or skins or anything like that, so I was very surprised that my eyes did not react well with this product, especially when it claims to be gentle!

So, this product is definitely not worth $15.50 price point. I really would not recommend this product, but maybe it will work for you. I haven't really seen any reviews or anything about this product, so maybe it's just that camomile doesn't work with me. I definitely won't stop you from using this product, but I will caution you about it.

That's all I have to say about this product. Have you guys tried this product? What were your thoughts? Please let me know in the comment below !
